This is such an old trick and it has never worked before. They nearly managed it after Napoleon but the Russian Tsar torpedoed their World Government idea. I think that the elite funded Bolsheviks got him back, though.
I suppose you could argue that herzog is serving the anti-christ by trying to make us all think that war is the only course of action to take. When all the fighting is over and half the world is dead, maybe herzog will be transformed into an angel of peace and light, preaching global peace and a single world religion.

The plan of the New World Order is to create wars so that everybody has a deep yearning for peace (as if we don't have that need already). Then the solution of World Government is offered. It was tried after the War to end all wars, WWI, with The League of Nations. It fell apart, thank God, but that meant that there had to be some more wars in order to sicken us some more.
The same thing is happening now with this latest inevitable, necessary war where the enemy are evil and want to take over the world etc etc.
herzog often tries to convince us that we should just accept the violent side of our nature. He is also a big fan of pre-emptive action and even claims that the best defense is your opponent bleeding on the ground. People warned before the invasion of Afghanistan that those dastardly neo-cons were planning a nation destroying horror show in the middle east and so it has happened. And still these people try to convince us that Iraq is somehow better off than it was before. The situation out there will continue to spiral down into violence and death and herzog and the rest will continue to make excuses for why it must be so. Obviously herzog is not the anti-christ (because the anti-christ is supposed to be charismatic), but he most definitely is the spreader of some nasty views.

A couple of things about the "taking days" issue...
1. The Jewish holiday began that night and they could not have bodies hanging on crosses waiting to die.
2. That was why the legs were broken, to kill them quicker.
and C. The weak condition of a person after 39 stripes (cat-o-nine tails with hooks, balls, shards of metal attached, etc), would likely bring a person very close to death if not all the way over.

Satan will amke world leaders believe that world peace is a attainable more than it has ever been in the past. The Bible doesn't say that humans WILL actually reach world peace.
