It is a HUGE Problem. My ex is all messed up on that crap. His brain in completely fried, which is real sad cause he used to be real smart. Now he is the eqivelent of a paranoid skitzo. Itis a real problem here in Colorado, there are "meth labs" everywhere. It is a sick drug made out of drano and battery acid,and other stuff.
It damages brain cells rapidley and prevents you from using you synapses (brain function). Eventaully those synapses (equ. electric cords to the brain) fry and you cannot process any pleasure (including sex)anymore, you are consitantly trying to obtain the 1st time high, never to repeat itself cause you fried your brain. Bad stuff!

I am an unofficial drug expert, and I can say with confidence that methamphetamine is the most harmful drug in use - on an individual and sociological level.
It is cheap, easy to make or procur, and has a very powerful, desireable effect that lasts long. It can keep people up for days, even WEEKS, can trigger psychosis, causes documented brain damage (as ladys mentioned) more severe in effect than most other commonly used drugs, is very addictive, and gives people a stimulant high that can cause them to do things they wouldn't ordinarily do. (Not to mention the risk of overdose)
I guess it's no problem in Canada. GOOD. Cocaine and heroin are less destructive than methamphetamine, and that's saying something.
That explains a lot, ABC, lol.
Meth is out of control where I live. The Police doesn't have the resources or manpower to track down all the labs or dealers. I have a best friend who lost his wife, kid, $20 an hour job, 2 cars, and thousands of dollars worth of guitars and amps because he got hooked on that crap. He's clean now, but he hasn't worked in 4 years.
Bad stuff for sure.

It's the single worst drug on the market today. Meth heads are vampires they just live in their owne world--and they become psycho. Talk about selling your soul. As the others have stated, the saddest thing is watching someone just disappear into the junk.
It's truly a poison. Not only is it terrible for people in more ways than I care to mention here, but the byproducts of making that stuff is terrible for the environment.
Problems with makeshifts labs?
It's because of the illegality, don't blame the drug.
Meth is great stuff. You can use it to work, study and for fun.
It's not "very unhealthy" at all. What is unhealthy is taking way too much, not eating, not staying hydrated and not sleeping on consecutive days.
But if you don't take obscene amounts and IV or smoked then its ok. Since you can't eat then you have to take a shitload of supplements (vitamins, amino-acids, etc) and drink sport drinks. And to your body meth its just like releasing a lot of dopamine (meth is not inherently toxic).
What is dangerous is the lifestyle associated with heavy and careless meth abuse and impurities.
Someone who has common sense and is educated about lab synths can run a clean synth... Pollution is not inherent of the synth, its just the cooks.

I didn't know there was such things as healthy drugs anyway. Even legal drugs are unhealthy and alcohol is plain poisonous.
...Like with all drugs there is the ugly but, for the most part, the govt is using propaganda about meth to fuel the fucking War On Drugs and justify taking away freedom.

However, I was explaining something that I had a encounter with someone I loved that is still hooked to this day. The success rate of staying clean is only 3%.

You need to relize that you need some help, obviously you are in favor of meth for whatever reason/s and feel like you need to try to make it accepting to use it.

At the risk of sounding like Joe Friday, meth is one drug you want to avoid. A line isn't gonna kill you, but you really need to look at someone who has been smoking it for a few nights and ask yourself if you want to be that. Look at someone who has indulged in that lifestyle for a 2 years and see if that's what you want. Don't let the complete euphoria blind you.
