COMMENTS:
I was the oldest of all the grandchildren on either side of my family, and the gap was so severe that, as I was growing up, I learned to think of them by their names, rather than Grandma and Grandpa and such.
I call my grandpa dead and I call my grandma ummm, Memah.
I say nana and poppah... my nana is french so she wanted it that way...
