yes well when you watch some sports it does seem like war, and not just the players, the fans aswell having rivalries with rival cities or countries.
...over who has got the better team.
I don't think any nation sees it as a sport.

That's right. They don't draft people between 18 and 34 to compete in the 100 metres.
I'm not sure if any *Nations* do, but alarmingly large numbers of people appear to.
oh geez, get real. it's the biggest game in town! I can't wait for las vegas to start offering up point spreads in the form of body counts. all this jingoistic hog-doody camouflaged as patriotism makes my ass twitch. o.k. todays quiz: who said "the only difference between civilization and chaos is three meals and twenty-four hours"?
