I guess maybe if you live in the right area it is beautiful. All the colors are changing and it isso interesting to watch. The air is crisp, it usually smells good outside. Plus you can usually cook good things in the fall, lots of things are to be harvested. Good time for soups :)
I don't like it, but I'm a summer person. Anything below 80F is chilly for me. Fall is a harbinger for winter, my worst time. Also, it's when my allergies are WORST.

Fall is my favorite or was when I lived in a state that actually had seasons. :)

lol mlbouton,you sound like Martha Stewart, but that could be a good thing, but I agree with you, my home town is in upstate ny and fall is my favorite season for reasons you gave.

I love this question, Fall is the MOST beautiful time of the year...Winter tops it off...I love New York, and New England during these times and I would prefer living in a cold climate environment anyday. I don't care much for the summer months, eventhough there are many fun things to do during the summer. How I do look forward going to New England and New York for Christmas and New Years!
No, I like the fall, summer gets too hot for me! I agree with ABC, Winters in CO last forever.
Autumn is great. Although I tend to get a bit introspective this time of year.
I rather miss not getting to go back to school. ;-)
