Most definitely not. It's your DUTY to support what YOU believe in, not what the gov't believes in. That's the whole reason for having democracy.

That's just plain stupid. Supporting YOUR beliefs is the whole reason for having a democracy. If you're going to just support whatever the gov't does without forming your own opinion, you might as well move to China.
