Wow, I can't believe you posted this. As a matter of fact, I do foresee that as a logical extrapolation of current trends.

As Nations become further weakened by ongoing Right-Wing attempts to shift power from Governments to Corporations, Business will accumulate money and assets until they reach a critical threshhold ... beyond this, they become entities unto themselves and Governments have power over them only as long as the Corporations continue to acknowledge that power.

At some point, one or more Corporations are going to realize that the national Government is powerless to coerce them. At this point, I believe that Corporate Security will be beefed until it is an actual militia.

It'll be more like "Corporate Welfare". The CEO's will raid the companies equities and invest them over seas, leaving the taxpayers to bail the company out. Does the name NEIL BUSH ring a bell? Remember the S&L scandal? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
