COMMENTS:
Abortion "rights" will be overturned because there is no right to privacy in the Constitution. The Supremes will return to interpret the Constitution as written and not what they would like to have in it. Praying in school is already legal. The 1st Amendment explicit protects the Church from government, not government from the Church. Nixon, a Republican created the EPA. More than 40 percent of Republicans identify as hunters, fishers, environmental sporters so the chance that Bush or anyone in the administration could carte blanche overturn laws is far fetched. Affirmative Action laws should be overturned. You can't end racism with racism. The goal of this country is equality of opportunity not equality of outcome. People ARE NOT equal. The opportunities that they should be, as much as possible. If there is social unrest it will be the lefties out there, so that isn't something Bush's Court would be responsible for.
I approved this so I can have something to argue against. but confidentconservativ beat me to it.
As for Affirmative Action, a form of it (the "legacy") allowed a certain man named Bush to get into Yale.
I know that this is hard for you. Yale is a private institution. Yale rewards alumni. The alumni of Yale are wealthy. That is unfair. Life is not fair. The ideal is equality of opportunity not of outcome. I don't like that rich people go to better schools, drive nicer cars, have better pot, etc. But life is not fair. We are not all equal.
They still don't have 60 votes in the senate so expect a major fight.
