The only regrets Peterson has are being caught, charged with, tried and convicted of one count of premeditated first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder of Connor, his unborn son which should have also been first-degree murder! However, it doesn't matter now as Peterson is still eligible for the death penalty but even if he receives the death sentence, it may well be years or even decades before he is excecuted, thanks to our apellate process which could drag on and on delaying closure for Laci's anguished family! Imagine our legal system adding insult to their injury by setting Scott Peterson free on a technicality! Look how O.J.
