Suppose your had a 17 year old son that you thought was straight (he was even talking about women alot too to hide the truth), then all of the sudden, he comes out of the closet and admits being gay. How would you handle the news, would you be supportive of this, or would you become completely devastated that he is probably never going to have a wife and kids?

Give him a huge hug and tell him I loved him	5

We would be supportive. The first thing I would want to know is how he really felt about it in order make sure he has the kind of support from us he needs.
