As much as I would like to believe in this oh so Utopian election where everything will be ok amd the last 2 years has just been a bad dream, unfortunately, the legacy we have left in Iraq and Afghanistan will affect us for at least a generation.
The racism against the Muslim countries must stop, then terrorism may stop for good.
Despite the Chimp's arm chair conqueror delusions, I'm hoping the US will get out of Iraq sooner than later.
Oh, they're GOING to. According to a NYTimes poll taken seven months ago, if the elections we've been sending our kids to bleed and die for were done then, the winner would have been a radical fundamentalist who makes al-Zarqaui (sp?) look like Uncle Sam. And, in most of his writings, he says one constant thing. To paraphrase roughly, "We want Americans GONE." Let's get our soldiers home NOW.
