I also have the Jersey accent,, some people from my college think the way i say water is funny.. we don't use the letter T too often in the middle of words I like the Texan accent the best... any southern accent really,, when a girl has a southern accent it's so hot
Jersey accents yeah! I'll give you a qawter for a cup of cawfee!
Give me the Texan.
^ I love New Jersey,, and me and Repub are both in a good part of the state.
And we know how to drive better than anyone else in this country. We can swerve through the smallest space between cars and we are excellent at cutting people off with extreme accuracy while driving 90 on a highway : )
lol Raw Jersey rules! To bad it's a blue state. The country I live in is hard core Republican and the 3rd most richest county in the USA. BBC doesn't know anything about America. Either reguarding politics or states etc so just ignore him. 10 bucks he doesn't even know what a jersey accent sounds like.
I used to have the Jersey accent, until I became a carpet-baggin' Yankee and moseyed on down South. But women with Long Island accents...OH. Fuggedaboutit.
I like the southern or Texas accents. I'm good at imitating it very well and I trick a lot of people into thinking I'm from there.
O yea repub--- Richest county IN THE COUNTRY right here!!!! At least I was told that a few years ago.. richest county in the richest state in the country....I don't see how though.. my family is definately not rich, and my neighbors don't seem to be either. and your right,, BBC is probably talkin out of his @ss as usual. I love Jersey! And damn right,, too bad its a blue state!
I dated a guy from New York along time ago, and couldn't understand a damn thing he said. I almost had to by a language translation book , to convert the new york language into english. Texans have my vote
typo: buy not by
I doubt New Jersey is the richest state in the US but I may be wrong.
New Jersey is not the richest state in the country raw iron. It has a very high median income compared to most all other states, but that's because it's one of the most expensive states to live in. Living in the shadow of NYC and being the most densely populated state in the country makes it very expensive. Property, housing, car insurance just to name a few cost you an arm and a leg in New Jersey.
Im from New Jersey also, but it sounds identical to many regions of the U.S. The California accent is almost the same as New Jersey. The one thing I did notice is the way peole from New Jersey pronouce the "a" soud in words that dont have it. Like orange for example. Many people from Jersey pronounce it arange. Not a as in apple but a as in garden. arange. I personally say orange though.
New Jersey is not the richest. California, then Texas, Florida, New York ect. are all richer. New Jersey is the most densley populated per square mile/kilometer. It is very rich though.
