Even with all the stories we've seen about female teachers having illegal sexual conduct with underage male students, there's still a huge double standard when it comes to media treatment of these cases. Let's put it this way: You think 'Entertainment Tonight' and its sister show, 'The Insider,' would be boasting about their exclusive series on the wedding of a child molester and victim if the molester were a man?

The convicted child molester is, of course, Mary Kay LeTourneau, the creepy, wide-eyed, ever-smiling former teacher who started having sex with Vili Fualaau when she was 34 and he was 12.

What gets me is these shows treating the wedding as if it's a match made in heaven and not in the back of a van.

Is this really 'entertainment' or just the chum bucket of the ever increasing appetite of tabloid TV?
