Well, I agree with you 100%. To compound the problem, not only is our government not doing much to stop it, but they are making it difficult for private citizens to stop it as well. It is a serious problem and nobody seems to care.

I think Foxx was 100% right in saying that. There is truth in what he said. When's the last time you saw any American, let alone black Americans willing to work in the fields for that kind of pay?
It was the case of a conservative racist saying what he really thought, rather than giving the press the usual BS. Ooooops.
What makes it hilarious/sad to me is that what he was really saying was: "My people are so degraded that they will even do work that your lowly black people won't do." Now there's a leader.
Cranky: Fox is racist but it's a bit different than what you'd expect. In Mexico you've got the light complected (who claim to be of Spanish decent) and the dark complected (the Indios, the natives, the very poor). The Mexican bluebloods really don't consider the Indios to be human--unless, of course, they have a great futball game going on. What Fox really meant was this: Our dumb animals do work that even your dumb animals won't--pretty sick. But that's why Fox & Bush get along so well. Deep down inside they're the same guy.
His comments may have been a little over the top,but you find me one american who's will to pick mellons or lettuce etc. and prove him wrong
Fox is a racist. I posted a ballot on his comments. He apologized when Al Sharptong and Jessee Jackson went to Mexico and as soon as they left, his spokesperson issued a statement saying that Fox stood my his original comments! In the article, it said that there is a great deal of racism toward Black people and they have a show on the air in which the star dresses in black face and lampoons black people!! And, the article said that the Mexican people have an expression about people's work ethics that says "he works like a black man." The Mexican government tried to make is seem like it was a compliment, but people they interviewed anonymously said that it is really meant as an insult. Apparently, there is also levels of acceptability in Mexico based on skin tones and the darker the skin tone, the less respected that person is. How absurd is that!
Fox is a racist and I believe this has to do with the fact that there is a great deal of tension, particularly in California, between Americans who are black and illegal Mexican aliens. Seems to me Fox just wants to have a free pass to let his people flood over the border illegaly, work here and send all the money home. CLOSE THE BORDER!
The coutry's problems have no direct effect on the Mexican elite. So they see no need to correct them.
