Okay, Reb, here's the problem: Which parts of Moore's movies, views and opinion do you admit are true? Which are false? Bet they aren't the same parts. But, I agree that some of what Moore represents as true is just added as entertainment and marketing to crowds. Now, back to the question, Reb: Which parts are true? Which are false? You show me yours and I will show you mine. Deal? #:>)
A LOT of "Fahrenhet 9/11" was spun propaganda, not all of it well-veiled or effective, I'll freely admit that. He had his agenda in mind before he even began pre-production for the movie. But some of what was in it, no one can deny. Recruiting practices in the Services was spot-on. The story of that mother whose son died in Iraq canNOT be denied. And Mister Bush's OWWN WORDS, particularly at that $25,000-a-plate fundraiser where he said that he was "happy to be here, with his constituents"- he meant that his constituents were the Haves, NOT US.
I had to vote for option 2 because it is so funny. Michael Moore is good because he goes after those in power and the image we are all shown in the mainstream press. He shows the corruption of those in power. That is always good.
I suppose that Michael Moore is infinitely happy now that GM is on the verge of bankruptcy. Great job with demanding cradle to grave security from private organization.
It is funny that the idiot CRANKY thinks THIS ballot is stupid. Too bad that he can't recognize that almost every utterance of his is monumentally stupid and petty and doesn't even have the ability to outrage. Cranky is a blithering idiot. He is so stupid that it hurts me to even think about it. Cranky is the most major one trick tool on B&W
He only added it because it got added to one of his.
^okay, but he adds derogatory and irrelevant choices on ballots all the time. He is clearly a racist little twit, but that is okay because his targets are "white". Haha funny that the defense of this guy is so strong. If the vitriol he spews was directed towards that whore Clinton (either one) then he would have been in exile a long time ago. I guess it pays to have powerful "friends" huh?
Michael Moore and president Bush are both political lightning rods. The key difference is that one is the commander-in-chief of the most powerful nation in the world, and the other is a filmmaker. That's quite a gap. Assailing Michael Moore is a convenient way of deflecting criticism of president Bush. If you don't like Michael Moore, then don't see his movies. Things are a trifle more complicated if you don't like the president.
