The question is that what if Science was the new religion and the believers in it would fight and die for like the followers of Judaism,Islam, and Christianity? Please don't give me bad karma for my bad grammar,lol. I read on the instructions on the ADD BALLOT section and it said members kind give bad ratings for this. Understand that I'm new people,please.
I think people have died for science. They have been generally labeled as heretics.

Could you imagine a bunch of geeks going to war for science LOL! But in all seriousness, this ballot brings forth a very interesting concept.
Yeah it seems to me that every religion started from humble beginnings kind of like a brush fire until suddenly it becomes uncontrollable devouring and destroying everything in its path that catches onto it is left barren and destroyed. Science like religion of old comes to benefit mankind and to educate him on the importance of himself and the things around him, when in actuality its only there to divide us even more then religion itself did.
I think science is today's new religion forgive the oxymoron.
There are heretics in science too. People like Einstein and others were viewed as nuts for a long time because their views were not in line with the predominant view.
