I dont see why they shouldnt be able to vote.
Would be interested to know if they are democrat or republican states.
I cheated and looked because I didn't know. Shame on me. Anyway though here's a quote from the washingtonpost.com......... In 2003, Alabama Republican Party Chairman Marty Connors stated a bald truth: "As frank as I can be," he said, "we're opposed to because felons don't tend to vote Republican." Another............ "According to one convincing study done at the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis, George W. Bush would have lost Florida by 80,000 votes in 2000 had ex-felons been allowed to vote -- even assuming most of would not have bothered to vote and a third would have voted Republican." Veeeeeerrrry interesting.
Indeed, malck.
I learned this a few months ago and forgot already..
yes malck-- now we know that convicts are democrats.. that IS interesting. Convicts are democrats therefore democrats are convicts. heh heh
I wasn't really quoting anything to point out any felon affiations with demo's or repub's, I was doing it to point out how different the political landscape might be if a lot of felons did vote. The fact that a presidential election MAY have turned out differently is an example of that. I'm not pro-republican or pro-democrat. I'm pro-whoever will do the best job.
hahah, that's the stupidest statement I've ever heard, you got caught supporting that felons are overwhelmingly liberals, and your backracking is hilarious!! : )
Why would a felon vote for the Republicans , how many felons are pro-life where the innocent are concerned & how many believe in the death penalty for convicted killers?
Voted : 18
