COMMENTS:
I do, he isn't my ideal candidate, but I'd certainly vote for him over many others.

He calls it like he sees it and is also an American hero. One of the few Republicans that I do like.

Overall, yes. He actually comes off as sincere compared to other politicians.

McCain earned my respect when he spent five years in the Hanoi Hilton, despite being told TWICE that his release had been secured due to his father being a two-star admiral. But you saw the movie and knew that. During the '04 election, his stock dropped a bit when he let himself be dog-and-ponied by Mister Bush's spinmeisters. He RE-earned my respect, though, during this recent filibuster crisis, when he gathered a coalition of Senators to work out a resolution that prevented a potential schism within Congress.

Yes, I voted for him in the primary back in 2000 even though by the time I had the chance to vote here in California it was already over.

He seems to be honest, more so than most. He didn't act like a liberal and jump the line to go home when he was a POW. He doesn't pussy around about his experience in Vietnam either like that jerk Kerry.

But mostly because he is honest (seemingly).

I read an op-ed today that said it is going to be McCain/Bush (Jeb) in o8.

I'll vote that ticket over the opposition anyday.

But there are very few democrats that I would ever vote for right now. Like Lieberman. I would vote for him over Giuliani or Frist.

You're an idiot. I suppose every German soldier in WWII deserved to go up for war crimes too right?
