About 40 years too late, he lived his life free when he should've been locked up or executed. Bastards like him give Southerners a bad name.
Get the rope.

Considering the evidence they had to work with and the obvious pre-trial polarization of the potential jury pool, I'm shocked that they even reached a decision, much less a guilty verdict. Smells of guilt, though. I hope not, for the sake of a justice system that's had more than its share of bumpy rides of late.
Too little too late.
He should've been charged with murder but you know how they treat klansmen in the south.
Justice delayed doesn't even begin to qualify my feelings about this p-o-s. I think that he owes the people of Mississippi about forty-one years that he stole by staying out of prison. I hope that noone feels sorry for this guy. And LD he was charged with murder. The jury convicted him on a lesser charge.
They just had sympathy for him because he's old. It's expected. And because it's been so long, like Truthseeker said.
I'm surprised that Zerhog doesn't have something to say here.
He should've been punnished to the full extent of the law! If there was not enough evidence for a murder charge, then manslaughter was appropriate!
Voted : Too lenient. He should have been convicted of murder
...and LYNCHED!
