Just making a simple point here. Try to twist this one as you will, but until you look up the definition of unilateral, don't bother with the hate. =:-)=

All the countries who joined are US states 3
You're right, Im a fool and have said this before to promote my hatred and partisan agenda 2

^Agreed. However, the ballot adresses the accusation that the US acted "unilaterally", which I really don't understand how.
by CletuSlackedJawYokel on Fri Jul 01, 05 4:07pm [+]

you're actually right in my opinion cletus. i think w. should have worked to have a stronger coalition and a bigger coalition, but technically, i guess you're right.
by Kev24 on Fri Jul 01, 05 4:57pm [+]

Without Bushy and his gangsters there would have been no war. Britain was dragged along by the idiot, Blair, and the others were either intimidated into participating or paid off.

The "Coalition" was nothing more than a fig leaf for Bushy's war.

Unilateral doesn't mean it was only carried out by one nation, it means that france and the left didn't support it. Really, people ought to learn the new definitions of the words. Just like torture now means anything bad the US army does to prisoners. And freedom fighters are now people who detonate bombs in crowded areas and kill women adn children. We should make a new dictionary so everyone is up to date on these terms.

good idea herzog, "The New Liberal Dictionary"

Or maybe a Geroge W. Bush dictionary where words like misunderestimate and nucular are included.

by Liberal_Democrat on Fri Jul 01, 05 10:29pm [+]

Seriously, should any of the other nations even count for anything? The US is doing all the offense, the US is doing all the defense, the US is losing the most, and the US calls all the shots. You might as well give every US general a "country" label.
by Liberal_Democrat on Fri Jul 01, 05 10:31pm [+]

Amazing, 2 people actually said all the countries are US states. I dare those two to admit who they are and how incompetent they are lol. That's funny shit.

"Don't bother with the hate," Cletus? How absolutely unfair and boorish of you! My God, man, without the hate, many folks here would be dumbstruck. How would they communicate?

With reference to your question, the "unilateral" referred to by most folks regarding the U.S. actions against Iraq, my guess is they are talking about GWB's leading the charge (well back behind the troops) down the hill to skewer Saddam. Absolutely solid participation by the Brits! Not sure it was that bright, but definitely did a bunch of the grunt work, and a good bit of the dying in the war, particularly in the early phases. Love them!

Always heard the British were "the best soldiers and poorest led" in the world. Nothing's changed much lately to change that assessment, eh?

Wow, you are taking a stroll down memory lane of stupid leftist trash here.

Don't act unilaterally in Iraq, but do just that with North Korea. Haha

make up your minds stupid leftist trash haulers.

LD: Bush screws up words, true, but we always know his meaning. Liberals may pronounce everything correctly, but they change the meaning to suit their own agenda. And if it comes to gibberish I can understand, or an eloquent speach that we have no idea what the meaning is, I'll go with the first option.

Which would you prefer LD: an honest speaker or an eloquent one?

"Which would you prefer LD: an honest speaker or an eloquent one?"
It doesn't really matter since most of the time they're not the ones speaking, it's the speech writers who do it for them. I'd like both. It really gives the government a bad name when the head of state can't say things right. It's like posture. Would you like a president who's almost ideal but when he's seen with other world leaders he's dressed up like a thug with pants 2 times his size and a gold chain around his neck the size of a car wheel? It's not a horrible thing that he can't say things right but you get the point. The other thing that gets me kind of mad is when right wing websites like moorewatch.com (or org, I'm not sure) make fun of how leftwing websites like Pravda.ru can't spell English words right. How can they, they're Russian, while at the same time their American president can't say some things right. That's really my whole point.

I know some leftist politicians use double speak but that's politics. Both sides do it, it's just how it goes. If we went by George W's definition of what a terrorist is then basically all the people who voted against the Republicans last elections are terrorists.
