I'd give it an 8.

I will agree on 8, the effects are starting to show with the melting of the permafrost in the north, towns in Alaska and in northern Canada are already having to be relocated

That was my point ABC. It's not a problem if there's slight weather change, but as soon as you have to start relocating people or polar wildlife has to start moving in toward the mainland then it's a problem.

When the Polar icecaps finally melt, never fear, Tom Cruise will save us. He will use his magical power of scientology to stop the massive tidal waves and we will all be happy with big smiles on our faces. On that note, Grumpyboogie votes 7.

I vote 5. It would be greater but there isn't much we can currently do to prevent it, we can only prepare for it.

Bigger than everyone thinks

How absolutely unfuckinreal that everyone didn't vote it a goddam ELEVEN, like me.
This says VOLUMES about why the problem exists.

And by the time it becomes in-yo-Face 100% apparent,
it'll be too late to reverse it.

Humans are briiight. riiight!

Read Micheal Crichton's book State of Fear, and you will see why Global Warming is not real.
by jappy on Sat Jun 24, 06 5:08pm [+]

Voted : 1 Not a problem at all
Ice has lower volume than water. So when the icebergs melt, the water levels should theoretically go down, not up. Looks like Michigan is about to be landlocked.
