^ don't go putting words in my mouth everygirl. you assume that because i or others were against the iraq war that we thought saddam was a good guy. that's total bs and you know it is. that is the convenient response to anyone who questions the invasion. but, when faced with the question as to why we don't do the same in china, which clearly is also a somewhat brutal regime. or for that matter, any other number of countries. we certainly knew what saddam was like when we were giving him arms to fight iran. or, was a good guy then, who then went bad? see the flaw in that logic?
to use the lie that we went in to free the iraqi people is a load of shit and you know it. whether you want to admit it publicly is the key. just do not tell me what i belive and don't try to drape a flag of freedom over bush's war in iraq. is does not fly with 90% of the world and it does not fly with me. you should really not use that line of reasoning -- its very weak.
