Crank, I am going to say something you won't hear from me very often: Good ballot.
Thanks, Cletus. Yo da man.
Well the US government is the biggest exponent of the free market. Or is that only when it's for the benefit of the USA - such as when it promotes SO-CALLED democracy or freedom?
NEVER!!!!!!!!!!
Its actually Canada that needs to be more focused on this. China intends to control a majority of Canadian oil. Scary.
Funny Keith, when an American was trying to buy Manchester United, there was a major movement and effort in the UK to stop the sale. Did you know that? Seems what you accuse us of can be placed right back to you guys too. People in glass houses.
Anyone who sells technology or other infrastructure vital to American national interests is not far from being a traitor.
NO, but it wasn't a good idea for Microsoft to sell out to China either, nor to filter out "MSN China" so words like "Taiwan independence" "Human rights" and "Tibet independence" weren't filtered out

MSN did not sell out to China Aya. MSN, in order to business in China, had to agree to certain terms. Be careful, some people on here will go running MSN, sold to China, MSN sold to China! :) I agree. The problem with China is that the government controls the corporations, as does the army. Did you know that the army is allowed to OWN corporations in China. However, foreigners are never allowed to own a majority of a company in China. So, if the XYZ company, a British company for arguments sake, wants to open an office there, the Chinese government in effect owns a majority of that office. They are lying hypocrits because the bid for UNOCOL is a governemtn bid, disguised as a 'corporate" bid and they bitch that we may block it, but see nothing wrong with the fact that they would not allow one of thier companies to be sold to a foreigner. Here's a plan: let Chinese companies be open for buying by foreign companies. Then we'll talk.
Why not? They already own our national debt. I mean, get real: Your banker can buy anything he wants from you.
