I have to confess ignorance; I didn'trealize Canada had ever pursued nuclear arms.

i go it right. was it in protest to the regan arms build up, or more because they felt they did not need or want them? too bad every country did not do the same.

The PM at the time didnt want them, Canada was very involved in the technology as long as the US was, having participated in the Manhatten project and selling nuclear reactors. Plus Canada has alot of uranium.

1984 - I saw it at the War Museum a couple of weeks ago. I didn't know we ever had nuclear capability.
