LOL.
He was a lot more than just a guy with a mediscanner in his hand. I count myself lucky to have seen him in everything from "Gunsmoke" to "Hawaiian Eye", and never be exactly the same character twice, which is the greatest compliment one can pay any actor.
And, mojo- wicked smart, that one.
He was also a decorated air bombadier in WWII as I recall.
Damn it Jim, he was good! I agree with Truthseeker about his acting. Kelly was a hell of an actor, and really did a lot more than just Star Trek. Very versatile! He did a fair amount of radio drama early in his career, and I think some of his best performances were in that medium (particularly a 1957 episode of Suspense called "Fleshpeddler" - highly recommended if you ever get a chance to hear it).
Im Not A Magician, Spock, Just An Old Country Doctor!' Besides playing McCoy I remember he was in a lot of westerns shows and movies. But then, what was Star Trek? It was just a western style show set in space.
Dammit Jim I'm givin 'er everthing she's got!
No Guy..that's Sulu.
no Sulu wouldn't have said "dammit Jim"
Bones was a sexy dawg
