I'm sure just a small percentage of people are racist toward Arab and Muslims. Turn the question around. What gave the small percentage of Muslims that are terrorizing, the excuse to hate us? Quit being ridiculous.

In some cases, perhaps. I think there are other issues at play this time. I know a number of moderate or liberal people who are questioning how they feel about muslims.
Most of them had probably never heard of Arabs before the US started shooting at them.

To be honest with you crank, I use it to justify my hatred twords Arabs. Think about it. Given the zeitghiest of 21st century western culture, Arabs and muslims are very easy to hate. I'm getting over it. I don't approve of myself hating an entire culture, but I feel it--what can I say.

The rightwingers are like the weather. Their cult leader attacks one group, so they'll hate that group. Cult leader changes his mind, attacks someone else so now, his blind followers hate the newly attacked group.
Honestly, I don't hate Muslims or Arab people but I strongly dislike the way Arab governments work. You can't blame War and the West for it either. The Ayatollahs and Sheiks choose to be behind everyone else because it only benefits them. The Saudi king says "hate the west, stay out of the west" while at the same time he goes to Paris to check out the newest fashions and maybe even stop by Germany to hire a new wife. I think there are a lot of people who hate Arabs from before so they use terrorism as their propaganda to continue hating them. The others, like I opened this comment up, are like the weather. They'll hate any group that disagrees with America and the president. The other 50% are Liberals who are very independent of what Bush calls "American culture" even though America doesn't have one true culture.
