COMMENTS:
Because white men are responsible for everything that goes wrong, duh!
obviously someone wasn't paying attention during PC brainwashing sessions at school - everyone who was knows that making sure muslims do not get offended is more important than making sure people dont get killed
Profile away ... just please don't kill someone in cold blood. Ted Bundy, caught dead to rights by a police officer who KNEW he was guilty of multiple murders, begged to be shot. The officer wouldn't do it. Bundy had his trial and his due process.

Mojo I agree, with exceptions made for someone caught in the act. In that instance I say fire away.

Unless those aforementioned Whitey's were also pole smokin faggots or Goddamned Jews at they very least, we'd have nothing to hold them on!
Folks, there is a huge difference between trying to establish a profile for a criminal case and doing racial profiling. A criminal profile works from what evidence they have to try to establish an idea of the perpetrator's probable characteristics. If authorities began random searches and wiretaps of all white people, in search of serial killers, then that would be Racial Profiling. As implemented now -- it isn't.
PC is a theory with good intentions, however, as we all know, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. An even better question is, if slavery never existed, would all this political correctness exist? The simple fact is, racial profiling, or "raciscm" really has nothing to do with the color of one's skin. IT IS A JUDGMENT BASED ON THE TYPICAL BEHAVIORS OF A GROUP OF PEOPLE, WHICH, OF COURSE, CANNOT BE APPLIED TO EVERY MEMBER OF THE GROUP, BUT IN MOST CASES, IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK, TALKS LIKE A DUCK AND ACTS LIKE A DUCK....THEN ITS A FUCKING DUCK1
Let's face it, legal or not, racial profiling by the police has always been going on, and it is disingenuous to act as if we are having a serious debate about it now.
Suppose a red-haired, freckle-faced, white lad with green eyes was seen running from the scene of a terrorist bombing. Would it constitute "racial profiling" to stop and question red-haired, freckle-faced, green-eyed, white guys?
Unfortunately, a certain amount of racial profiling is necessary in airports, IMO. Taking aside white-haired grandmas and searching them is a little absurd. I've seen that. I have also been subjected to frisking quite often. I'm a blond, blue-eyed woman - obviously not in a disguise. At the risk of sounding racist, I think their time would be better spent checking out people who look more the part. Just my opinion.

Though Griffon has a point - I didn't read that news report! The whole issue is a can of worms.
