COMMENTS:
I don't have a religion so I guess I would have to say country
As to not piss off either side ,I'd like to go with old age
I would die for my country, but no way in hell I will die (or kill) for religion.
Well, there seems to be no "eternal" benefit to dying for one's country, but there is the off-chance that dying for a religion might earn you an eternal retirement in the bliss of heaven. So, let me die for a religion. Notice I say, "a" religion. No one dies in my religion. But what do I know? I'm a man with a dark aura and absolutely no power.
Patton: "It's not your job to die for your country, but it is your job to make the other poor sap die for his". Please forgive me the quote may not be verbatim.
I believe it went like this; "No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."
Far rather die for agnosticism than the modern, corrupt, right-wing UK.
^There's that.
I wonder when people say "for the country",They actually mean for the government. And I am very skeptical about "government". When they sends troops overseas, they always say "for the country".i don't buy that.
I'm going with Quinn on this one.
Neither, this country isn't fit to do die for and religion is all messed up.
