I think Kurt was on a mission on this earth, and when he felt it was over, he decided to leave rather than bear the pain that he was suffering from. Its too sad that our world looks down upon at suicide as something ghastly or loserish. We are snatched from the warm comfort of the womb into a hostile world, just grappling with the undying urge to again find that dark wet comfort; which some people find again at death. What Kurt gave us was more than music, he sacrificed himself for the cause of this generation. He was a revolutionary in his own making.
Courtney Love may be a train wreck, but Kurt Cobain did love her so she must have some redeeeming qualities. You'd never know it by the way the media continues to portray her though.
Or perhaps by the way she chooses to portray herself. She's probably her own worst enemy in and out of the limelight... Just like her husband in that respect.
I can't say I blame him, but you know his daughter might someday.
That is the one thing I never understood. What he saw i her......
Two years past the point, but here goes nonetheless... Life is precious. Trust the guy who had it and lost it, and was lucky enough to get a second bite at the apple. I don't care *what* problems you may have in life or with life, you don't throw it away. You sit down, you find a way to cope with the problems, but you KEEP LIVING.
