WILL THE BOTTOM LINE BE THE FACTOR THAT GIVES USA UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE?

I just caught part of news story, and it was predicted in near future, auto assembly as well as airplanes , would be done off shore and only sales would be handled inside the USA.

One of the reason they gave was, american companies can not compete, because of benifits they have to give their workers , especially health care, making it hard for companies to compete.

Do you think universal health care in usa, might be necessary , if not for the moral reasons, but economics,

Will some politicians react because it is an economic problem, if we don't have jobs in us, who is going to have the money to buy the products?

If companies lose money , the goverment reacts better than it does if someone is not able to afford life saving surgery.

What is the solution to this problem?

that would be great 7
don't know 3
Hope not 3

Yes! I have maintained for years that the most pro-Business option available is to get 'benefits' off the backs of Business. That is an obsolete construct, instituted after WW2, to attract workers (back when we had jobs in this country).

Caving in to the companies would be a big loss for Americans. They already get HUNDREDS of billions in subsidies.
