I read this somewhere, so it's an unsubstantiated report -- that said, it's well known that Bush was an alcoholic, so it's very much possible that this situation happened long before he went into politics. How much better would the world have been had he just picked Jim Beam and remained an alcoholic instead of developing political aspirations?

Somewhat better -- a drunk Dubya in office is prob marginally better than now.	3

No it is true. George and Laura talked about that topic in those words to Bwabwa Walters.

I think in some ways the idea in the Bush family was that Jeb was gonna be the President, and George was ummmm unexpected.

But I still like Bush.
