Mother Nature's just saving her finale for you guys. How does massive hurricane hitting east coast, while a large earthquake rocks the west and falling asteroids covering the middle sound.
Simple, god forgot about canada. Don't do anything to rock the boat or you'll draw his wrath! More so, for having successfully hid all these years.

Interesting story in Readers Digest 20 or so yrs. ago,
where a GermanCanadian immigrant guy spoke to someone in the Can. Min.of Defence,
and mentioned the radio post the Germans had established
waaaay up in the frozen hinterland of Canada's North!
He seemed to know what he was talking about,too!
And so, next Summer,
up they went to search for said radio post.
Dammit, they FOUND the thing,
pretty well intact,
with batteries still fairly good, code books, everything.
The Canooks(oops, sorry,PC!)
didn't even know it was there, since 1939-45 War.
THAT's how big the 2nd. largest Country in the world, is.
