TUS: I think the point is that when muslims claim they should own jerusalem because it is their holy city (and then kill people to make this point) they are in fact full of shit. They just want it because the jews currently have it. If israel were to take over any spot of land in the middle east the muslims would then claim that particular spot has always belonged to them and is in fact their most holy stretch of barren desert.

And with reference to them "stealing Palestine from the Palestinians," the question needs to be asked, where did these "Palestinians" come from? They are a figment of the Arabian imagination, created solely from/for political purposes.
The Jews have an historical right to their land; the "Palestinians" are the usurpers.
I don't think that they mention it. I read the Koran and don't specifically remember any discussion on it, but I could be wrong. I say 2.

Here's my take: First, the Jews have been scattered about the earth for melleniums by various forces. The "European Zionists" you refer to are displaced Jews.
These returning Jews have a far more credible claim to "Palestine" than the "Palestinians." Palestine is a creation of political imagination. There were no "Palestinians" before 1948, and the truth is, there are none now.
Palestine is where all the Arab governments dump the poor and homeless of their societies.
