I wouldn't though. I'd just find a nice, expensive hobby.

The money would give me more choices, what college I could attend and where I would live, but I'm almost certain I would still work.

I would maybe find work doing something I love (that requires money). Working on reading all my books, working on hiking, working on my swimming, you know that kind of work :-D I may try my hand at writing though.

^, oh, I thought it read 1 million, 100 million, forget what I said above.

My work is a nice, expensive hobby. So YES. But I'd do less of the work myself and employ other people who do certain aspects of it better (i.e. music production).

ƒu¢k no! I'd retire.

Of course I'd still work. I'd start coming in late, screwing up, leaving early, taking too many days off, drink at my desk... All the while letting my bastard company know I had deep pockets enough to battle in any court... See what exactly it'd take to get fired. Then just laugh & leave when terminated. No real legal battle, just the threat of one. Because I guess I'm just a bastard at heart.

I'd let someone struggling to make ends meet have the job slot I obviously wouldn't need. I mean, do you know of any actual multi-jillionaires who got that rich by WORKING for it?
by Copernicustomized on Sat Jun 03, 06 1:18am [+]

that should say HELL NO
by avalanche_ave on Thu Jun 22, 06 8:45pm [+]

Right now, I say "no". But I have a feeling with that much money, things would eventually lose their meanings for me, and I would feel the need to mingle with people who are like the "real me". I think I would want to do volunteer work where I would feel useful and have a structured day. I think, then, the thrill of being rich would stay fresher than if I did nothing but eat, sleep, and spend. So, in the end, I probably would do "work" of some sort.
