I think that with the use of the word "retard" in today's culture, there is. "Retard" has taken on a whole new meaning apart from those with mental retardation and now means someone who just constantly does dumb shit.

For instance:

The dude who played Corky in "Life Goes On": Retarded.
Terrell Owens: A retard.
Dustin Hoffman's character in "Rain Man": Retarded.
Paris Hilton: A retard.
Tom Hanks' character in "Forrest Gump: Mentally retarded.
inter_regnum, et al.: A retard.
