COMMENTS:
I agree with him, but I made this ballot before and most of the blame from users here was our fault for buying the furs, and that is what China says, if we did not buy they would not have a market.
Sir Paul is being a racist. Multiculturalism is good.
It's a disgusting industry, but then so are the meat and poultry industries. I agree with Paul McCartney, but he should also visit some chicken processing plants in the UK & US. Shame it takes a celebrity to shine the spotlight on animal suffering.
... Or human suffering for that matter.
I have yet to hear of any fur trade that wasn't barbaric and cruel.
What gives him the right to judge anothers cultural practices? They aren't white for gods sake! And he criticized them. Which, as we all know, makes Herr McCartney a racist.
^ Tsk. This merely demonstrates that you aren't grasping the concept.
So now it's ok to criticize the cultural practices of nonwhite cultures?
"So now it's ok to criticize the cultural practices of nonwhite cultures?" We kind of expect this from the Chinese, they admit it. They don't have PETA freaks like the US does. It the US (a big animal rights activist) did it then it'd be different. If the US got rid of that whole "we like animals" label then it'd be different.
So it's ok for them to do it because we expect no better from the chinese?
I agree with Zig on this one.
