Clinton lied under oath and the conservatives demanded that he be impeached. The effects of his lie would never have been a major issue outside of his marriage, but you could still make a good argument for the necessity of the move for what it meant symbolically. After all if he would lie about that under oath what else might he lie about?
Now Bush has broken the law by ordering domestic wiretaps without warrants. Obviously the rules have been set up for a reason. Someone has to ensure that the President is justly and legally obtaining this information. His recent argument that 9-11 might have been prevented if he had been doing these wiretaps before hand is nothing more than an insult and should be viewed with nothing less than contempt. His actions are a violation of our forth amendment right to privacy. You could just as easily argue that if Bush had put us all under marshal law before the attack that it might not have happened. Since the conservatives are not asking that he be impeached they are being hypocritical and are showing not only partisanship but also flagrant bigotry. In my mind they have now lost credibility. What do you think? Bush broke the law and the conservatives are not asking that he be impeached. Have they lost credibility?

He did not break any law. Just because you think he did does not make it so.

Go read your history. He didn't break any law, he did however fall into a poliltical trap set by Jimmy Carter, he is the one that set up the FISA court, not to oversee presidential actions either but to take care of them without the President needing to give authority to every act. However, when the court sleeps on the job the President, who is the one that grants them the authority, has every right to take it back and act on his own to carry out what was delegated.

Voted : No
It was wiretapping people receiving phone calls FROM OUTSIDE the U.S.(like from terrorists), NOT FROM INSIDE THE U.S.
Therefore it was not domestic wiretapping.
