COMMENTS:
The main reason Asians will continue to play in the Majors is because most of them pitch, particularly the Orientals, and pitching is so watered-down and weak in today's game that Asian pitchers will get ample chance to prove themselves and generally succeed to some level. Asian players as prominent and impacting as Hideki Matsui are going to continue to be something of a rarity regardless of how successful the WBC ends up being.
