they met the requirements of the progressive rock movement,without having to go into space music or abstract zappa like compositions. they held their own,hammered it down your throats,and actually did some fine ballads ,most of them woryh learning on an instrument. the mimi moog ang gong bombast really wakes an audience up . the band was a treasure and i hope they enjoyed making music as much as i enjoyed listening to it . most other music today pales in comparison to their high standards in almost every piece of music they composed.
