COMMENTS:
A new Fox News poll hands George W. Bush his lowest approval rating to date. Overall, just 33 percent of Fox's respondents say they approve of the job the president is doing. Among Republicans, only 66 percent still give Bush a thumb's up -- an 18-point drop from a year ago. -- Tim Grieve, Salon, 04/20/2006
33% from Fox...divide by two and you'll get the real number
I have to admire them for their honesty in this regard: it can't play well with their core constituency.
^Indeed.
I got it right! Shocker! I thought Fox would support Bush no matter what. LD - More like 33% from fox... double it and you'l get the real number

I was surprised, too, when I heard that it was a Fox poll. Usually, theirs have shown Bush's ratings as slightly higher that most of the others. If Fox turns on Bush, that can't be good for Bush, although, I'm inclined to think that Bush will start to rebound now. He's had a litany of controversies lately, and I would think that at some point things would have to turn around for him some.
Fox. And here's what is tasty about this crow: Just last week, Neil Cavuto dismissed a CBS poll showing the President's approval rating at 34%. Now, their own poll is showing 33%. I know it is adolescent to gloat here, but sometimes you just can't keep that kid down! I'm loving it!
I'll go for the "shock and awe" choice...
And I'm not disappointed.
