COMMENTS:
The Mubarak al-Kabir Tower in Kuwait City, Kuwait which will stand a formidable 3,284 ft tall.

It will include a complete olympic stadium and will house up to 700,000 people.

Construction is currently under way and is due to complete sometime around 2030, although the structure will top out between 2011 and 2013.

That's an awfully big target, in a fairly weak nation, with lots of money, that is seen as going against islam by their friendship with the west.

Add all that together and . . . well, I wouldn't expect it to join the pyramids in the annals of longstanding middleeast architecture.
