COMMENTS:
I think human rights would be the most significant as that covers many of that other ones.
Poverty and human rights are the 2 that would solve all of those problems that are listed.
Well, how can I not go for GENOCIDE? Seeing as its highlighted right at the top in CAPITAL LETTERS.
The poor state of human rights.
I can't even pick one over the other

Boy, 16, executes father's killer. _____________ A teenage Somali boy has stabbed to death his father's killer in a public execution ordered by an Islamic court. Large crowds gathered at a Koranic school in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, to watch Mohamed Moallim, 16, stab Omar Hussein in the head and throat. Hussein had been convicted of killing the boy's father, Sheikh Osman Moallim, after a row about Mohamed's education. Islamic courts have brought a semblance of order to Mogadishu, imposing Sharia law after years of rule by warlords. However there is some opposition to the courts. A group of warlords has been fighting a militia loyal to the Islamic courts, which they accuse of links to al-Qaeda. . . . Isn't that nice pleasant, civilized bahaviour?
Ummmm... humans will need a viable planet to live on. Global warming takes precedence over ALL other problems, humans or otherwise. No planet with atmosphere, NO LIFE(no human problems) Get it? probably not.
probably not but that's what I wanted to pick too.. as awful as people treat each other someone has to step outside of that fight and think of the Future and try to help it before it's too late for Any of us.

^ with humans fouling their nest at this nonchalant rate, you'd swear we have a guaranteed Other Planet held in reserve for us, AND a means of getting there, a planet that has an atmosphere approx. 80% nitrogen, 20% Oxygen, just waiting for us to come over and foul THAT nest,too..
For a moral issue: Poverty. So many other ills (hunger, crime, etc.) have roots in this problem. Global Warming is another huge problem, but I tend to view that as a sociologic/ scientific problem. Although I suppose that when destruction and denial gets to a certain point, it can be considered a moral problem.
