George Bush said that he is looking forward to seeing the Gitmo detainees put on trial.

In his comments, he said: "They will get their day in court. One can’t say that of the people that they killed. They didn’t give these people the opportunity for a fair trial.” (MSNBC)

In the U.S., where one is presumed innocent until proven guilty, will the President of the United States proclaiming that ALL several hundred detainees at Guantanamo are killers (i.e., "guilty") assist in the process of guaranteeing them a fair trail?
