It depends on what ethnic group you're talking about. Some ethnic groups are more cultural than racial. Some races are more prone to this or that, but culture has a large role as well.

Not in my opinion. I think most crimes are a result of socio-economic factors and not about race at all, or as Tommo points out, maybe even genetics.

Poverty is one prime correlating factor with many types of crime. Ethnicity is not a factor, although local enviornment probably is.

Environement is the major influencial factor however different races take differently to their environment hence therefore act differently.

Statistics do not show a link to ethnic background alone and criminality.
They show a link between socio-economic status and criminality.
The fact that ethnic minorities hold a special place in the lower echelons of the Western socio-economic strata speaks volumes about the recent overtly racist past and the continuing trends (albeit less obvious) today.

Some races have higher average testosterone levels than others. Combine this with a poor environment and they are more likely to grow up criminal. Criminals in general tend to have higher testosterone, but the majority of high testosterone males are not criminals. In fact, intelligent men and leaders tend to have higher testosterone levels. We were raised properly and therefore know how to control our impulses. Genetics and culture both come into play.
