Actually that's exactly why I'm NOT in favor of repealing it...
Of course they realize this; they are trying to maneuver a Clinton dynasty into place so America can become the socialist paradise liberals have been aching for since the U.S.S.R. imploded. Let's face it, liberal Democrats hate America, her citizens,and everything it stands for. Deconstructing every last bit of the Constitution and utterly perverting the principles the Founding Fathers of this country struggled and often died for just brings a warm smile to every liberal Democrat's face. Maybe if we're really lucky, we can be like Cuba or North Korea or any Middle Eastern country excepting Israel. Those are the COOL countries to liberals and their puppets in the news media and Hollywood. By the way, grab a dictionary and look up the words "liberal" and "democratic" and see just how little these definitions apply to self-proclaimed liberal Democrats. George Orwell was exactly right when he wrote "1984", he just had the wrong side in mind.

Dynasties are wrong ... no matter what family pursues them.
Maybe they're hoping that he'll be dumb enough to run again, so that they can use his record against him.

Some Democrats have spoken about the repeal because they figure Bill Clinton could beat anyone the GOP could offer up against him, certainly Dubya and possibly even Ahnuld. But it's not an idea that's likely to pass, because I truly don't believe Clinton's interested in being President again, quite frankly. It had been mentioned in some CNN debates but likely won't get any farther than that.
And I bring up Ahnuld because the GOP is thinking in smaller circles of having the Constitution changed so that the President need not be born on American soil. Don't forget, Kerry was trouncing Dubya in the polls last time until Schwarzy did almost all the talking at the GOP convention, immediately after which Dubya gained a lead he'd never ended up losing. People pay attention to who listens to whom, but I doubt anything this truly radical will really happen, at least not right away.
No Democrat wants to do away with trem limits. The question is skewed. Americans have a tendency to vote for religious sick fucks and 8 years is enough for anyone.
