The internal combustion engine will be with us until we run out of things to burn in it. When that happens, all of a sudden, a "new" source of propulsion for our personal deathtraps will be invented. In fact, IMO, it's already here; and just waiting for the moment.

burning dinosaur piss cleaner and more efficiently than ever.
Some of the new Japanese/Honda engines are 'not bad' with emissions..!
