John and George made beautiful music. Paul still does.

It was Lennon who founded the Beatles.
Lennon was more into the music than paul ever was, and that gives him my vote.
Tough question to answer as I think they were both great. But it was their combined joint efforts that propelled the Beatles to greatness.
