Like Coulter says impeaching Bush would change nothing because then Cheney would become president and continue the same policies.Impeachment hearings would be a major waste of the publics time,the government should be focusing on resolving the Iraq issue,dealing with Iran and protecting the borders.
Coulter is no friend of the Democrats. Her quotation here is a warning to Democrats that, if they win majorities in the Congress, not to impeach Bush. And, it works for me: Cheney is worse than Bush because he is evil AND smart.

I agree with her end goal, but for significantly different reasons. I do not believe Bush's approach to immigration is an impeachable offense, whether one agrees with it or not.
However, there are MANY other valid reasons to impeach him.
Re: Not impeaching Bush to avoid Cheney -- I fereverently disagree. I am not about to sacrifice principle for expediency -- we've had over 5 years of this and you can see the results.
 She's only saying that because Cheney's got a bigger bomb shelter.

Ann Coulter is a satirist. She says things to get people riled up. Not real different from some users here. Funny or hilarious when playing to their crowd. If there was a Democrat Ann Coulter, Dems would laugh at her too. I certainly don't take her seriously and I doubt many Republicans do either.
FF: I disagree. If I heard a Democrat spouting 'eliminationist' rhetoric, even against groups I am ideologically opposed to, I would not laugh ... or laugh it off.
We have got to stop enabling this kind of behaviour by apologizing that 'the other side does / would do it.
If it is wrong, w ehave to start saying it is wrong -- and it is wrong no matter who does it.
Cathexis you might disgree with what Coulter has to say but how can you say that she is morally wrong?
I wouldn't agree with her if she said I was Black.
