You left the choices box open. I notice that you did name the group being surveyed. I think it's fair to say that British opinion is inherited. I'm sure THEY would have voted the exact same way 300 years ago. Doesn't mean it's right--or wrong for that matter. Only that it accurately portrays the stereotypical opiniation and arrogance of THAT culture. amusing.
from my experience? no. and Brits aren't either. am I going to say? no again. I wouldn't want to prejudice anyone else's opinion as I have met very polite people from the nationality/culture that I consider typically the rudest.
The French, like all other peoples, have their share of rude, boring citizens.
English soccer fans are the rudest. Was it the French that tore up Lisbon Portugal? No.
A lot of people I know have experienced a lot of rudeness in London. A lot of arrogance.
I found the Germans to be nice. Italy? They are the most convenient to English speakers, which really is a bunch of meaningless nothing for me but a great deal for the Britons.
The US has a lot of good restaurants. The people polled must have been arrogant to think there is only fast food. Britons amaze me at how they denounce France and the United States for being nationalistic, when it is obvious most of them are just as much, if not more, patriotic.
Americas are unstylish...right Im pretty sure that most clothing styles come from U.S.A.

^ umm partly true. The US does have a significant impact. But I wouldn't say most.
The US may have championed the development of various "street" clothing styles but many of these actually originated abroad (e.g. jeans were invented in Italy, the T-shirt dates back to WWI when US soldiers noticed the light cotton undershirts worn by European soldiers, the bikini and the miniskirt were invented in France, etc. etc...)
Besides which, style is about more than just clothing.

From what I've seen, yes, the French are boring and rude, but that's just me.
Corrupt, that may be true for the 'gangster' wear like rocaware and akdmks but everything else that most of the world wears that's not true. Go on over to Europe and tell me if what they wear can even compare to what Americans wear.
They're *not boring*, but they are ruder than all get-out. And I say this after looking anumber of Frenchmen and women face-to-face.
H_C how much different can American fashion be from European fashion?Aside from sub-cultures like the gothic look from Germany or 'gangster'look from America we westerns dress alike.
