Because they're poor and you don't give them enough money.
hey! is that woman stealing an american child and trying to take her back to mexico? thief! or wait! is she abusing that child? look at how she's dragging her. oh, will the madness never end!
I think that's their anchor child and they're hanging on for dear life when the INS guy drives up.
i think that mabye they have strapped c4 explosives to that poor little gringo girl and if immigracion shows up they say "mira! we will blow the little gringo girl up if you try to stop us from coming into your country illegally. now back away from the truck load of illegal aliens you damn stinkin' gringos!" could happen.
It's ACTUALLY the neighbor's child. She's really from Venezuela, but she's been told to pretend she's from Nuevo Leon and that her name's "Lupita."
All I have to say is that it's ridiculous here in Phoenix.
I've honked many times at idiots that dont know how to cross the roads and that dont know how to drive. I've also had to swerve and slam on the brakes to avoid hitting people either because they were impaired and had no idea where in the hell they were or they just dont know how to cross the damn street properly. INFURIATING!
I havent even lived here for a year! lol
Yeah, in some parts of California where I've been, it's just as awful. I can't believe that they act that way back home in Mexico. It seems absurd to contemplate.
When I was younger, I did stupid things like that, like running in front of a bus; a girl recently got hit by a bus doing the same stupid thing I did. My friend almost got hit by a truck trying to do something similiarily stupid.

Yes, aya, but you were a child, and that's understandable. These are--mostly--grown men. It's driving me up the wall. I'm not Mad Max, and I really don't want to play "How many can you hit?"
O.K., does he spell it "Vincente" or "Vicente"? Google brings up an almost equal number of hits for each variant.
^ I usually spell it Vincente.
I dont really give a shit about how you spell that assmole's name, lol.
Gracias.
Hey, I'm working on a new phrasebook for illegals to try and help them out with this issue. Here goes.. Spanish: "Por favor, señor, no me golpea con su coche." English: "Please, sir, don't run me down with your car."
^ That's a start!
Spanish: "Excúseme, allí no sea ningún semáforo en Ciudad de México." English: "Pardon me, there are no traffic lights in Mexico City."
I.Q. issues..
Just out of curiosity ... unless you got out of your car and demanded papers, how did you know they were illegal?
^Good point. Wow, man, is that really you? Legal or illegal, these are people. In the area in California in which I live, the population of hispanics is exploding. Honestly, 9/10 times if you see a hispanic lady walking down the street here, she will have a minimum of one baby or child with her, and often three to five. You know what that means? I'm going to learn to speak Spanish, because lack of communication between different groups of people is what keeps them segregated. Otherwise I'll turn into a bitter old man who sits on his porch with a shotgun waiting for a brown-skinned person to show up on my property. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure that most of "them" around here are here legally. Do I think that people who are here illegaly should be documented, learn to speak English, and pay taxes? Absolutely. Then they can start pumping money back into the system, and we can focus on the unspoken prejudice and racism that underlies much of our collective behavior as citizens. You have to be pragmatic about these things if you want to make any headway.
"Just out of curiosity ... unless you got out of your car and demanded papers, how did you know they were illegal?" Because, invariably, the legals or long-term residents are either familiar with public transportation or own motor vehicles of one kind or another & needn't use such out-of-the-way pedestrian paths. The illegals also tend to travel in packs and be extremely cavalier (or perhaps are merely ignorant) of traffic customs. I assume they must be more accustomed to traffic in their home countries than the more fast-moving and congested roadways in the United States. Their dress and mannerisms are also distinctive and they mostly are groups of young to middle-aged males. Simply put, they stand out.
" I'm going to learn to speak Spanish, because lack of communication between different groups of people is what keeps them segregated." I'm quite sure they'll humor you until the Aztlan ethnic cleanising and the de jure or de facto reannexation to Mexico occurs in a few decades. Just because you choose to roll over and play dead doesn't mean the rest of us are so very keen to see the U.S. begin to resemble Northern Mexico. It's not racism--explicit or implicit--that causes many to detest the illegals. It's their lack of regard for our own country's law, combined with their wanting special treatment, not accorded to LEGAL immigrants, who must wait for years and years and undergo laborious application processes for visas or citizenship. Trust me, some of the nastiest comments I've heard about illegals have come from legal immigrants. Quite a few of these were not even remotely Anglo-Saxon in extraction. I'd say that my wife, who's a legal immigrant, and probably 1/3 of our closest friends are from somewhere else than the U.S. originally. Probably 95% of them have expressed some level of disgust at the situation with the illegals and the absurd political pandering going on to please their political action groups. So, we have Japanese, Chinese, Brazilians, Africans, and a number of others, who did it the hard way, very much pissed off. So am I.
Maybe it's because I live in the Midwest, but the first time I saw that road sign (on 'Mind of Mencia'), I thought it was a joke.
...a few more decades -- so I have some time to enjoy my burritos, then ? What do you suggest we do about the situation? I'm all for increased border security. That measure should have been initiated on September 12th, 2001. But what of the 12 million-odd brownies in the country right now? I mean, there's the way one thinks things should be and the way things are. The gap between those two is of course constituted by what is feasible, and what is likely to happen.
Apple: It may be impossible to remove the millions who are here by legal, civilized means, but I think that by presenting as uncompromising a position as possible towards our southern border and future incursions, that we will be more likely to slow down the flow. The House of Representatives had the right idea--ALL illegals should be treated as felons or, at the very least, those who knowingly or with likely knowledge employ them.
